Description CORPS OF ENGINEERS, U.S. ARMY Photo No. 20514 FORT PECK DISTRICT FORT PECK, MONTANA FORT PECK POWER PLANT & TUNNEL OUTLETS, FORT PECK DAM AND RESERVOIR PROJECT. View of the 271 foot high Fort Peck powerplant structure and of three of the four 24 foot, 6 inch tunnel outlets. The fourth tunnel directs water into the powerplant. There are three hydraulic generators located in teh powerhouse, two of 35,000 kilowatt capacity and the other of 15,000 kilowatt capacity. Located in teh foreground are concrete baffle piers designed to dissipate the energy of the water and prevent bank erosion.
